Smart home automation connects the devices in your home, such as lights, fans, air conditioners, curtains, door locks, cameras and sensors, so they can be controlled from your phone, by voice, or automatically. Instead of walking around switching things off, you press one button or let a schedule do it. Home automation also saves electricity, adds security and makes a home easier to live in, especially for elders and busy families.
For a new house or renovation, the best time to plan is before the wiring is finished, so switches, sensors and network points go in the right place. For an existing home we use retrofit devices that fit inside the current switch boxes and need little or no rewiring. We also set up a reliable network, because a smart home is only as good as its WiFi.
Power cuts, voltage swings and weak internet are part of life here, so our designs keep working in those conditions. Local-first control keeps lights and switches working when the internet drops, and we advise on UPS, surge protection and backup so your devices stay safe. We also automate shops, offices, hotels and showrooms, and design the supporting network and cabling; see IT infrastructure.
A smart home needs looking after: firmware updates, device replacement, new rooms and network changes. We offer maintenance plans and remote support so problems are fixed fast and you do not have to learn the technical details.
Smart homes are part of our wider IoT and robotics work, which also includes e-tag parking systems. If you are curious about the thinking behind local-first design, read Local-First Smart Homes on our blog.

A device list, layout and fixed quote with options for each budget.
Neat installation with minimal disruption to your home.
We train your family and stay on call for support.
Cost depends on the number of rooms, devices and brands. A basic lighting and security setup is far cheaper than a fully automated villa. We give a fixed quote after a free site visit, with options for each budget.
Usually yes. Retrofit modules fit behind your existing switches and in distribution boards, so most homes need little or no rewiring.
We design for local control, so switches and scenes keep working when the internet drops. For power cuts we advise on UPS and backup so critical devices stay on.
Security depends on setup. We use strong passwords, separate networks for devices, regular updates and encrypted connections, and we explain how to keep your accounts safe.
